Assistant Professor/ Director of Clinical Placements & Relationships

Over three decades as a RN with clinical bedside focus in critical care, operating room and the recovery room.  Served as a director and vice president in long term care working for the company that started subacute care and was responsible for 87 nursing facilities in 25 states in the United States.  Upon leaving long term care was a Director of Infection Prevention and Control for two large academic medical centers in Baltimore, Maryland.  Most recently – Dr. Grubb served as the Senior Director for Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety and was responsible for the areas of Quality, Patient Safety, Infection Control, and Stroke care.  Dr. Grubb holds a doctorate degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing where she is now full-time faculty and the director of Clinical Placements and Relationships.

She currently works as an ARNP with the Daniel Torch Foundation providing wound care to the unhoused population and people at risk due to addictions.
