JoAnn Ermer-Seltun has been a certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) Nurse since 1989 and a Nurse Practitioner since 1999. Currently serving as the President and Co-Director for WEB WOC Programs, JoAnn has dedicated over two decades to educating nurses aspiring to become certified WOC Nurse specialists.

She maintains a part-time clinical practice at MercyOne North Iowa, where she not only provides expert care for patients with wound, ostomy, and continence challenges but also precepts and mentors healthcare providers at all levels. JoAnn is passionate about nurturing the next generation of WOC nurses, helping them to expand their skills and improve patient access to specialized care both locally and regionally.
