Clinical Professor/Wound Ostomy Continence Advanced Practice Nurse
Dr. Jill Cox is a Clinical Professor of Nursing at Rutgers University and maintains an active clinical practice as a Wound, Ostomy, Continence APN at Englewood Health, Englewood, NJ. Dr. Cox currently serves on the Guidelines Governance Group for the development of the 2025 Pressure Injury Prevention and Treatment Clinical Practice Guideline. She is a past member of the Board of Directors for the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP). She also serves as a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for the journal Advances in Skin and Wound Care, and as a USA representative for the Education Committee for the World Council of Enterostomal Therapists(WCET). Dr. Cox is a member of the Accreditation Committee for the WOCN. Her published program of research focuses on pressure injuries in hospitalized adults with a specific interest in the critically ill population.
