Diana Burgueno-Vega, MD has over 15 years of experience in general surgery and surgical wound care was wll as surgical wound closure. She enjoys connecting with patients as she works to improve their lives through surgery and wound care. Board certified in general surgery, Trained at a busy level one trauma and burn center.
She obtained her medical degree at the University of New Mexico and trained in General surgery with focus on burns and wounds at Texas Tech Univertity. Dr. B-Vega has practiced general surgery and surgical wound care for over 11 years well as currently teaching residents at Lakeland Regional Center for the last 2.5 years. To Doctor B-Vega wound healing is not just a job, but also and art and a personal passion.
