Employed by Connecticut Clinical Nursing Associates, Cathy is an Advanced Practice WOC Nurse practicing across the continuum in a variety of clinical settings. Focusing on wound and skin outcomes, Cathy conducts clinical research, lectures nationally and internationally, and has published numerous articles and two textbooks. In addition, Cathy is a clinical instructor for the Yale School of Nursing. She served on the AAWC Board and now is President of the newly formed Coalition for At-Risk Skin (CARS). she recently participated in an expert panel developing consensus statements for best practices addressing antimicrobial resistance in wound care.
