(IH04) Innovation Hub Presentation - Exudate Management: Enhancing Healing and Quality of Life

This session will review the problems associated with chronic exudating wounds for both patients and the healthcare provider. They will look at the ways that exudate affects the patient’s quality of life, and review how frequent clinic visits consume more resources, dressings, clinician time, and overload schedules. The speaker will share case studies on a new dressing that manages exudate while moving it away from the wound, spreading it out in all directions. They will demonstrate how this can relieve some of the burdens on both the patient and the clinicians.
