Description
"Should I culture this wound" is a common question facing wound care clinicians every day. The problem is that there are few concrete guidelines surrounding this topic, and the tendency in many cases is to culture when it is not indicated. There are many factors to consider when deciding whether or not to culture and this session will strive to provide useful suggestions regarding the decision to culture, how to culture and what to do with the results.
